Aside from Hindi as the national language, English is the second major language in the country of India. It is used in communicating whether in business transactions or educational learning. Indians perform very well in English field, in fact they perform better in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) compared to their Chinese counterparts. In addition, statistics reveal as quoted from Yahoo! India news, their average level of proficiency when it comes to clearing the English language testing exam is much higher than in the past years. In the trend of outsourcing business, most outsourcing call centers prefer doing services to India since it has the largest number of educated workforce who is technology savvy, IT literate compared to neighboring Asian people counterparts and has one of the largest English-speaking populations in the world. Hence, there is no problem in communicating with Indians, as they are proficient with the English language.
