The tomb is the first example of Mughal architecture in the country in which it illustrates magnificence and opulence. Because of its awe-inspiring splendor, myriads of tourists across the globe travel to behold Humayun Tomb. The mausoleum nestles in the midst of picturesque garden making it as the first ever garden tomb made in the nation. This architectural brilliance’s whole structure is constructed by red stone emphasized with red and white marbles.


         Lotus Temple- as you visit this majestic wonder you will be spellbound by the sacredness of this place. This lotus shaped marvel is encircled with scenic landscaped garden symbolizing serenity. Its structure resembles like Sydney Opera House with white marble and concrete structure in lotus flower shape. Lotus Temple is the Asian headquarters of Bahai faith. You can see the spectacular beauty of Lotus Temple as night falls when it is floodlit.


         Ajanta Ellora Cave- this famous attraction in the nation is basked in the city of Aurangabad in which it ranks as one of the finest and most beautiful wonder of ancient Indian architectural heritage. There are 34 caves belonging at Ellora and 29 caves at Ajanta, all are cut out of rock by hand. These cave shrines were accidentally discovered in 1819 by John Smith during his hunting expedition. Ajanta is also included in the list as one of the World Heritage Site. On the other hand, Ellora Cave houses painstakingly made facades and delicately ornamented interiors.


         Taj Mahal- in the city of Agra, India lies one of the most famous heritage spots in the world, the Taj Mahal. This mausoleum is constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and cited according to wikipedia.com as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage”. Its white domed marble mausoleum is its striking attraction. Taj Mahal was built around 1632 and deemed finished around 1653 in which it employed thousands of artisans.


         Napier Museum- housed in an Indo-Saracenic building, Napier Museum is the centerpiece of the park that is designed by a famous eclectic architeure, Chisolm. There are rare collection of archeological and historic artifacts in this museum such as temple chariots, stone idols and 12th century bronzes.


         Red Fort- with a height that varies around 18 meters on the riverside and 33 meters on the country side. The massive red wall tshat is made of red sandstone serves as inspiration to name the fortress as Red Fort. The ambiance surrounding this beautiful wonder echoes serenity and comfort, making it a favorite destination among heritage lovers and foreign travelers across the globe.


         Chini ka Rauza- around 1 kilometer away from Itimad ud Daulah’s Tomb nestles one of the most interesting tourist sites in the country, the Chini ka Rauza. This notable feature in Agra, India is like the rest of architectural masterpieces established by the Mughals. It shows a work of excellence. Chini ka Rauza’s significant feature is its scenic Afghan-style rounded dome in which the walls are festooned with Islamic texts inscriptions and multihued tiles giving a unique look to the structure.


         Laxmi Vilas Palace- one of the most famous monuments in Vadodara. It boasts with great example of Indo-Sarcenic architectural style. The palace’s interiors exude luxuriousness as it is graced with fine stone, finest furnishings and marble mosaic. Laxmi Vilas Palace homes a collection of relics and antiques as it boasts with bronze sculptures, terracotta and old armory.
